Estate inspires healthy lifestyle
After spending time searching for a quiet location which offered value for money, Ukrainian-born Kseniya found Hammond Grove Estate ticked all the boxes as the location for her first home.
She is the latest buyer at the Hammond Park estate, purchasing a 300sqm block where she is building a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house.
“I instantly felt this new community was the best place for my new house,” Kseniya said.
“It’s the perfect location as it’s close to the train station as well as Fremantle and the beach, plus it’s not far from the city where I work, and it’s entrenched in nature and surrounded by parks.
“I wanted to build my own home three times in the past four years but had to cancel each time because I couldn’t find the perfect place and I had some issues around trust and transparency with other lenders and builders.
“But this time I was incredibly fortunate to find Aussie Living Homes as a builder, and then I was referred to Hammond Grove as a premium place to live, and the trust was built from the very first meeting; I’ve never looked back.”
Developer QUBE has designed the estate in tribute to Hammond Park’s rich horticultural history, incorporating fruit trees and herb gardens into streetscapes, parklands and the landscaping of new homes to inspire a healthy lifestyle.
Hammond Grove’s “natural feel,” in addition to the location, price and lot size, also appealed to Kseniya.
As a mum of a young teenager, she liked the proximity to shops, Cockburn Gateway Shopping City, Fiona Stanley Hospital and schools, with Hammond Park High School due to open in 2020.
“The new Aubin Grove train station is only five minutes away and everything I need is only a short distance from my door step,” she said.
“And although my intention is to build my own home to live in, I can also see big investment potential in the future. In my view, the estate is incredible value for money.”
QUBE managing director Mark Hector said Hammond Grove had sold very well over the last quarter, with titled stock now depleted. The company was pre-launching stage six to meet demand.
“While the prevailing market conditions have been challenging during 2018, Hammond Grove Estate has consistently outperformed the market and the larger competing estates nearby,” he said.
“We believe this is a direct result of the immaculately landscaped parklands, high standard of estate presentation, and the diverse range of lots that have been available at competitive prices.
“Currently, we’re expecting Hammond Grove to be fully sold by mid to end of next year, which is hardly surprising given the estate is embedded in a growth area on the western side of the freeway with an incredible range of amenities all within minutes.”
Estate lot sizes range from 268sqm to 459sqm and are priced from $199,000, which includes a $10,000 discount for a limited time.
Stage six is under construction and due for completion in December, with stages seven and eight set to commence in the first quarter of 2019.
The estate sales centre on Wattleup Road is open Monday and Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
