New roads lead to Apsley
QUBE has celebrated a significant milestone this week with roads opening into its new master-planned residential community, Apsley.
Apsley, located in Mandogalup, offers a range of affordable land and home and land packages to a growing, local community.
Now open and accessible via Rowley Road, Apsley is welcoming the local community, interested buyers and builders on site to view its first lot release.
According to QUBE Managing Director Mark Hector, Apsley has been 13 years in the making and is a strong reflection of the developer’s commitment to building healthy, connected communities.
“Apsley is a significant development for QUBE – we are here for the long term and have invested heavily in the planning of this community already. It’s a real thrill to see the early stages of our vision underway and to welcome people on site to understand the broader vision for Apsley.”
The first release at Apsley – Adventure Release – includes 67 lots in varying sizes from 315m to 572m and terrace housing lots to be released in October through Homebuyers Centre. With 18 blocks already sold, and a strong list of registered potential buyers, Mark said Apsley meets a demand for larger blocks that connect to amenities and nature.
“This is a large community with a real focus on healthy, outdoor living. There is strong connection with the local environment and integration of features that encourage outdoor exploration throughout including tree-lined avenues, adventure playgrounds, cycle paths throughout the estate, playing fields, dog park, walking trails and outdoor art and shaded spaces.”
“Apsley will closely connect to established surrounding amenities including shopping centres, schools, health services, parks and sports facilities, and introduce a range of exciting new features including a new primary school, medical centre, local supermarket, childcare centre, pump track, learn to cycle area and café.” Mark said.
“Apsley is a destination for those wanting an urban address that unites affordable contemporary living options with Perth’s laidback, outdoor lifestyle. Just 25 minutes from Perth and Fremantle, Apsley is bound by natural bush and nature reserves yet connected via Aubin Grove Train Station and Kwinana Freeway to the CBD, Murdoch University, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre and wider communities.”
Marisa Rodrigues purchased one of the first blocks at Apsley citing its location and connection to transport services as motivating factors.
“Apsley appealed for many reasons, with its proximity to the freeway, shops and schools being large factors in that decision.
“We really liked the overall plan for Apsley - the lifestyle it supports and the community it will deliver. There are lots of green, open spaces and there easy access to shops, schools and transport links. We look forward to building our new home and being part of this exciting new community,” Marisa said.
Landscaping works at Apsley are currently underway including entry statement, verges, median strips and parklands. In early 2020, Apsley will open a new land office, community centre, café and display village featuring 12 premium builders.
Apsley is now open to the community and accessible via Mokare Entrance, off Rowley Road, Mandogalup.
QUBE is a WA owned and operated developer with a proven track record of building sustainable, happy communities.
Apsley will provide long-term benefits to the area with local infrastructure upgrades, road improvements and new community facilities. The project will include 1,700 residential lots, creating strong jobs growth in the development phase, and several hundred more construction jobs as new land owners build their homes.
